The Bonita Optimist Club Respect for Law and Bicycle Rodeo event’s purpose is to focus the general populace’s attention on safety for both children and parents. Participating agencies such as Police, Fire, Paramedics, Homeland Security Customs, and Border Patrol will be onsite to engage with and inform the public of services available in time of need.
The Bike Rodeo will teach young children safe cycling practices. It will also have bicycle and helmet inspections to assure both are in good condition. The Bonita Optimist Club has teamed up with Bikes 4 Kidz giving away bikes the day of the event.
